Quick Check began providing Check Verification and Guarantee services at this time, and still considers verification and guarantee of checks its mainstay. Since the creation of the Automated Clearing House in 1977, the technology has been developed for electronic processing of paper checks. Quick Check in combination with banking and programming expertise has developed the software and systems to effectively eliminate paper checks at the merchant’s location. Quick Check is a fast growing, innovative company with new services being introduced regularly.

For the past 150 years some form of the check has been in existence. Initially, the cost of check processing was not that great and was considered as a cost of doing business. Over time, the cost of accepting and processing checks has grown, banks have been forced to increase fees to the point where companies nationwide pay out in excess of $41 billion dollars per year in such costs.

Losses associated with bad checks are of a growing concern to any merchant. Many merchants and especially restaurant owners and convenience stores no longer accept checks. The traveling public and your local customers, can be heavy users of checks. These people search out ways and places to use checks.
